During the week of July 22 to July 29, I participated in an artist residency at Zygote Fine Art Press in Cleveland, Ohio. The residency was supported by a generous Professional Development grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, endorsed by City Council members. During the residency week, I was able to complete two sizable editions on silkscreen and experiment with different silkscreen processes to prepare for my upcoming Introduction to Silkscreen course at Columbus College of Art and Design in Fall of 2019. Zygote is the largest open-access print shop in Ohio. The staff and member artists at Zygote were very welcoming and offered great expertise in the studio.
